Q1. Who is eligible to enroll in Koperasi Gemilang Malaysia Berhad as a Member?
Membership is open to all Malaysian citizens of age 18 years old and above
Q2. Who is eligible to enroll in Koperasi Gemilang Malaysia Berhad as a Child Member?
Child membership is opened to children and grandchildren of all the existing members. Entry age of the child is a minimum of age One (1) Year old and above but less than 18 years old.
Q3. How do I enroll as a Member with Koperasi Gemilang Malaysia Berhad?
Over The Counter
You may visit to any of our Branches and request for New Membership Registration service and our dedicated customer-friendly staff will assist you throughout the registration process.
Online Application
You may apply through online by clicking here and follow the instructions accordingly.
Offline Application
You may also download our Offline Membership Application on the Online Application portal.
Step 1
Please fill up all the required fields and sign on the Reverse side of the page.
(Note: – Incomplete or wrong information provided in the application will be resulted in Rejected Application)
Step 2
Scan and email us to “support@kgmb.com.my” these following documents
- Duly Filled Membership Application on both sides.
- Copy of your NRIC (Front & Back)
Step 3
Once Koperasi Gemilang Malaysia Berhad received the required documents & Application, a verification call will be made by our dedicated customer – friendly staff to verify the authenticity of the Application and once its verified, will review the Membership Application with the Management.
Once the decision is made by the Board (Approved/Rejected), you will be notified the outcome via email.
Step 4
Once your application is approved, you will be required to remit an amount of RM 200.00 to our Bank Account stated below,

Holder Name : – Koperasi Gemilang Malaysia Berhad
The payment break down as follows
One-time Registration Fee : RM 50.00
Minimum Share Capital : RM 100.00
Monthly Subscription : RM 50.00
Once the Transfer is made, kindly provide us the (Transfer or Bank-in) slip via WhatsApp No (+60173924199) or email to (support@kgmb.com.my).
Step 5
Once we received the payment, we will issue the Receipt and Endorsement Letter, (Normally Within 1-2 Working days) and the documents will be posted to your correspondence address accordingly.
(Note: As for Child Member’s Registration kindly proceed to our HQ or any of our Branches for further information and advice).
Q4. If my Membership Application rejected, can I appeal?
No, once the application is rejected by the Koperasi Gemilang Malaysia Berhad Board, the decision is final.
Q5. How do I pay my Koperasi Gemilang Malaysia Berhad monthly contributions?
You can also pay your contributions on a (Monthly/Quarterly/Half-Yearly/Yearly) basis at your own convenience.
You may visit any of our Branches and make the necessary monthly contribution payments over the counter or you can Transfer Online/ Debit & Credit Card Auto Debit Facility / ATM Deposit and Send us the Transfer-slip to our WhatsApp (+60173924199).
Q6. How do I withdraw my (Member’s Subscription & Share Capital) contributions or Terminate my Membership?
For Partial withdrawals, you may write a official request letter, and the management will review it, once the request is approved, you will be notified and the amount will be transferred to your bank account accordingly.
For Membership terminations, You may terminate your Membership by serving one (1) year Notice to us and you must be free from all liabilities either as a Borrower or Guarantor respectively.

Investments
Q1. Who is eligible to invest (Cash Deposit & Borrowings from Members) in Koperasi Gemilang Malaysia Berhad?
All the existing Active Members who have a credit share of RM 1,000.00 and thereafter, the monthly contribution to be upgraded to RM 100.00 (Share RM 50.00 + Subscription RM 50.00) are eligible to participate in this scheme.

Q3. How do I submit my Investment Application?
You may download our Investment Application Form in your KGMB Self-Care Account under (Forms) Tab. Once you Downloaded, please fill-up all the required fields and sign it where the signature is required and Proceed to any of our Branch and request them for a new Investment Registration service, our dedicated staffs will assist you throughout the process.

Credit Facilities (Islamic, Conventional & Micro Credit)
Q1. Who is eligible to apply these types of Credit Facilities?
All the existing Member, upon completion of six (6) months of active
Membership with regular Subscription, that is paid up-to-date are entitle for these Facilities. However, the above conditions can be waived for Members, who can pay their Loan repayments via Salary Deduction Facility.
